This is the home page for CIS159: Visual Basic Programming I.Net.  Students should check this site at least once per week to insure you are informed of any updates to the schedule or assignments.  It expected that each student read all course documents during the first week of class.

Course Description: Use of the Visual Basic programming language to solve problems using suitable examples from business or other disciplines.  Prerequisites: CIS105, or permission of instructor.

Course Competencies:
  1. Analyze problem descriptions and design programming solutions to the problems, using common problem-solving techniques.
  2. Describe the used of the various Visual Basic tools.
  3. Utilize appropriate Visual Basic forms, tools, and language components to code solutions for various problems.
  4. Locate and correct errors in programs.
  5. Create appropriate program documentation.
