The Learning Agreement/Contract
Purpose:
To officially verify a mutual understanding between students and the instructor.
STUDENT LEARNING AGREEMENT
- I understand that the course officially ends on December 12, 2008 and that no work will be accepted beyond that date.
- I understand that this is not a self-paced class and that it is my job to turn the work in on the specified due dates.
- Computers, software, and assistance are provided for the completion of assignments in the lab on campus. I understand that if I wish to work from home rather than in the lab on campus, it is my responsibility to have working hardware and software to do so.
- I understand that plagiarism (as defined in the course syllabus) is a serious offense and can result in a failing grade for this course.
- Therefore, I will submit my own original work for this course, and when using sources, I will cite the information clearly and accurately.
- I understand that it is fully possible for a student to complete all work on time and still receive a failing grade for this course if the work submitted is not college-level.
- If a student is under 18 years of age, please have a parent also sign this agreement by providing First Name, Last Name, and Initials.
