Hello and Welcome to your Flex Express ENG 102 course! I look forward to working with you.
This course is broken into three modules that you will complete during the course of the semester.
The purpose of ENG 102 is to develop effective research skills and then take the researched information and successfully synthesize it into a college term paper. The object in all college writing is to get students away from simply reiterating what they have read. Instead, students are meant to draw their own conclusions about a given subject and then use the researched information to support the conclusions they have drawn. That is what I am hoping to see in your writing. Topics are not assigned. However, you are required to use sources from the internet, so that all of your sources may be checked. You will also be required to use the Online Databases from the PVCC Library. These articles may be downloaded for free from the PVCC Library web site.
