1 & 2: Extra Credit Questions
The text
book for Microeconomics will be supplemented with many articles handed
out in class. Students are also expected to keep up with microeconomic
current events.
There will be many opportunities to earn extra credit points by answering
questions in class about the handouts, current events and text book
reading assignments.
The following television show is strongly recommended as a way to
follow current events and then answer extra credit questions in class.

will be answered in class:
- Please give a real example in your life of when you had to make
a choice. What did you do and what was the outcome?
Looking back, how would you have done it differently?

- More than a decade has passed since the introduction of MARKET ECONOMY
into Russia's economy. Do you think it has worked?

- Do you think that the state of the economy in the Clinton and Bush
administrations has validated the conclusion of the Phillips curve?

- In 1998, fuel prices plummeted to a 10 year low. Today they are
at all time high.
What factor(s) caused such big fluctuations?

the rest of the year in Arizona?
