Introduction
COURSE DESCRIPTION   District Curriculum
Advanced C# programming with emphasis on data structures, dynamic memory allocation, object-oriented programming, user interfaces, and database processing. Overview of web applications, network programming, and reporting tools. Prerequisites: CIS162AD, or permission of instructor.
COURSE COMPETENCIES
 
1. Design and develop solutions to solve advanced business problems using C#.
2. Describe .NET Framework internals.
3. Design and develop object-oriented business applications.
4. Demonstrate and implement advanced database programs.
5. Develop an advanced user interface.
6. Demonstrate and implement data structures.
7. Describe multithreading concepts.
8. Design and develop web applications.
9. Examine network application development.
10. Apply .NET packaging and deployment techniques.
11. Utilize report designer tools.
COURSE WORK
Weekly course work includes reading, class lecture review, chapter questions and exercises.
Tests with question and programming components will be given as each area of course work is completed.
