We hope you are excited about your decision to teach online at PVCC! If you’ve never done it before you will find it challenging, time consuming, and incredibly rewarding! There are a host of resources and people here to help you along the way.

As a start we decided to create FOG to serve as an online resource to all your resources – we hope you find this site helpful in your online teaching journey.

Susan Ko and Steve Rossen said it best in “Teaching Online: A Practical Guide”: “The move to an online format offers you opportunities to try out new methods and approaches. Preserving the quality of your course need not mean finding and exact translation of what you’ve always done in the past.” (page, 48)
