Networking Essentials
Emphasis on local area network with overview
of wide area networks. Includes terminology, hardware and
software components, connectivity, network architecture,
packet structure, topologies, communication standards and
protocols, and security issues. Preparation for Microsoft
certification examination.
Prerequisite: None (BPC110 or CIS105, and
BPC121AB) suggested but not required.
