Biographical Information
Dr. Massey has been a chemistry instructor at PVCC for over ten years. Although teaching is his primary interest, he has extensive research experience in the field of organometallic chemistry.
Dr. Massey received his training at Northern Arizona University, Stanford University, the University of Florida, the University of Illinois, and he recently spent a year on sabbatical leave as a visiting scientist at the University of Arizona studying the biochemistry of HNO.
As a result of his sabbatical experience, Dr. Massey is involved in the University of Arizona Research Experiences for Undergraduates program to provide talented community college science students with summer research opportunities.
Dr. Massey was raised in Tempe, Arizona, and enjoys exploring the southwest on his motorcycle.
