Biographical Information |
|
Dr. Massey has been a chemistry instructor at PVCC for over ten years.
Although teaching is his primary interest, he has extensive research
experience in the field of organometallic chemistry.
|
|
Dr. Massey received his training at Northern Arizona University, Stanford
University, the University of Florida, the University of Illinois, and he
recently spent a year on sabbatical leave as a visiting scientist at the
University of Arizona studying the biochemistry of HNO.
|
|
As a result of his sabbatical experience, Dr. Massey is involved in the
University of Arizona Research Experiences for Undergraduates program to
provide talented community college science students with summer research
opportunities.
|
|
Dr. Massey was raised in Tempe, Arizona, and enjoys exploring the
southwest on his motorcycle.
