Paradise Review: A Literary Anthology

Every year the Creative Writing Program of Paradise Valley Community College sponsors a literary contest in which student-writers submit original work to judges of PVCC Creative Writing Competition. Student-writers may enter one piece in each of the following genres: poetry, short shorty, creative non-fiction, one-act play and (the best of) journalism. There are cash awards for first, second, third and honorable mention categories.

However there is only one award for journalism . Winners of the PVCC Creative writing contest will be published in the Paradise Review, the student literary anthology. The competition Judges may also select "Writings of Merit" that will be published in the Paradise Review . The "Writings of Merit" have no cash awards.
