  • become a part of the community college environment

  • identify career opportunities and future employment needs

Paradise Valley Community College faculty will teach the international business course.

This International Business Summer Program is funded in partnership with
Western Maricopa Tech Prep Consortium. There is no cost to the students for the program; however, the registration process includes verification of student residency status and qualification for in-state and in-county tuition. Potential students must have lived in Arizona since May 29, 2007, and have lived in Maricopa County since April 9, 2008. They must also meet qualification requirements for in-state and in-county tuition. Selected students and their parents/guardians will be required to attend an orientation meeting on June 4, 2008, from 6 – 8 p.m. Students must complete a Reading Assessment before they complete registration for the course. Convenient testing dates and times will be provided for the short assessment. State guidelines regarding assessment for the placement of students will be met as applicable.
