Paradise Valley Community
College faculty will teach the international business course.
This International
Business Summer Program is funded in partnership with
Western Maricopa Tech Prep Consortium. There is no cost to the students
for the program; however, the registration process includes verification
of student residency status and qualification for in-state and in-county
tuition. Potential students must have lived in Arizona since May 29,
2007, and have lived in Maricopa County since April 9, 2008. They must
also meet qualification requirements for in-state and in-county tuition.
Selected students and their parents/guardians will be required to attend
an orientation meeting on June 4, 2008, from 6 – 8 p.m. Students must
complete a Reading Assessment before they complete registration for the
course. Convenient testing dates and times will be provided for the
short assessment. State guidelines regarding assessment for the
placement of students will be met as applicable.
