I teach history at Paradise Valley Community College and utilize active learning strategies. Students are active participants in obtaining historical knowledge through their own research with guidance from me. Before coming to PVCC in 1998 I taught at a number of institutions such as Northern Arizona University and Navajo Community College (now Diné College). I use BLACKBOARD for my classes & pertinent internet sources as well as POWERPOINT for instruction.
