Resources: Mathematics courses are
challenging. Your success depends on attending and actively
participating in classroom activities, completing and understanding
homework assignments, and adequately preparing for exams. If you have
any difficulty understanding and applying the concepts covered, be sure
to get help as soon as possible! The following resources are available,
free of charge, to assist you in mastering the concepts presented in
this course.

stop by my office during office hours if you have questions, concerns
or just need extra help. Additional office hours are available by
appointment.

Learning Support Center (LSC):
- Drop-in tutoring is available in the
Learning Support Center (LSC), located in Building E. For more
information call (602) 787-7180.
- Study Groups – You can sign up for a pre-scheduled
study group at the front desk in the (LSC), located in the Bldg E.
The LSC will provide a tutor for student-initiated study groups if
5 or more students can agree on a common time.
- Workshops - The LSC also provides Calculator Workshops and
strategies to improve study skills including test-taking,
note-taking, memory, vocabulary, textbook reading, and time

Interact Math provides chapter
objectives, quizzes, and tests. It also includes a TI-83 Plus graphing
calculator tutorial and manual.
